All the cattle that were forward today were with a mixed bag of goods on offers. 1st rate heifers got away well with Tony and James Swires of Stainburn topping proceedings with their home bred heifer. The heifer a “Miresdale Finest” daughter was calved 10 days and giving 27 litres, which went on to sell for the sale high of £2020 to Mark Goodall of Tong
2nd rate heifers also got away well with some average goods bid fiercely for, with many reaching the early teens.
