4,048 Prime Sheep comprising 3,683 Prime Lambs, 365 Cast Ewes & Rams

A larger show of sheep than anticipated met with what was probably a slightly better trade than we had thought might have been the case. Handy weighted lowland lambs were comparatively a nice trade all day long with 38kg to 41kg lambs good to sell. Heavy lambs were definitely better than expected generally with customers keen so long as not over fat. Mule lambs turned out to be a decent trade too, although horned lambs were clearly less money with a lot of lightweight types in the entry.
