CCM Auctions conducted their fortnightly sale of Store Lambs at Skipton Mart on Wednesday where a large entry was presented for sale. Trade was subdued as there was a larger proportion of long keep lambs on offer than would usually be present at this time of year and the regular seasonal buyers for these type of lambs are still struggling for spare grass in some feeding areas in the South and East of the country. As the weather becomes more favourable for grass growth then we can expect to see these seasonal feeding customers at forthcoming sales.
