Leading the sale was the gimmer shearling Heber Park Claribell from David & Karen Shuttleworth, a daughter of Corra Wally, she took the show ring by storm when becoming female champion and reserve supreme overall. This wonderful gimmer was secured by Nick Brown & Charlotte Ormonroyd of Farelton, Lancaster for 3,800gns. Nick & Charlotte had only just before sold their pen leading Bronic Camilla et, sired by College awesome, and she found a new home with Dan Towers. Greame Sinclair matched this price with the 1^st prize ewe lamb Sinclairs Diamond ET, by the Kingledores Battleaxe it sold locally to Thomas Heseltine of Bolton Abbey.
The ram trade topped at 2200gns for Michael and Becki Davis’s champion shearling ram Rathbone Cooper by Bedol A Team, it attracted a lot of interest from many breeders and it was D Brown who secured it for his Brownville Flock. Procters Farms Jeff Aitken presented a fair pen of rams which sold early in the sale, having five at four figure prices, the leader was the Myna Actor son Procters Calypso ET which sold for 2000gns to Messrs GW Lee & Son of Frosterley.
