At CCM Auctions final Store Cattle Sale of the year there was a decent entry given the proximity to the christmas break. Bulls were a mainly younger smaller selection but spirited bidding from the ringside ensured a fast selling trade and prices equally in line or better than of late.
Store Bullocks were a nice selection of mainly stronger cattle which is reflected in the average of £1058 for all bullocks sold. Heifers were more varied in quality, and strong types and smart ones sold really well.

Mr Crisps heifer was giving 24kg and was very quick to milk also raced to £1800 when selling to Peter Sowray of Bishop Thornton.
