Feeding Bulls –
The first real show of 2017 born cattle in the feeding bull section and trade was good. TH Mellin with a pen of sweet February born Limousin crosses out of Blue x Cows averaged £895 with a top of £990. SJ&RK Handy sold January born Limousin crosses to £990 and A Twell with March born British Blue crosses to £980. Under 12 months old bulls averaged £916.77.

The Inaugural Sale of Suffolk Breeding Sheep saw 30 Pedigree and Pure Bred sheep go under the hammer.
The Pre Sale Show of rams saw the ram lamb of Stephen Bolland, Bolton Abbey take 1st prize in his class and went on to make the top price lamb at 550gns to James Foster, Riddings.
John Nutter of Hurst Green took the first prize in Shearling class with a super entry and sold for the top price of 600gns.
A 70% clearance of rams saw shearlings av £569 and ram lambs average £412.
