MARKET REPORT - WEDNESDAY 18TH SEPTEMBER:6,589 Head (Overall av £56.54) At the fortnightly sale of Store Sheep there was a good attendance of travelled buyers looking to purchase lambs for longer term keep and this helped to maintain the trade for Suffolk, Continental and Cheviot lambs from that seen at the previous sale, smarter types would be a shade dearer.

MARKET REPORT - TUESDAY 17TH SEPTEMBER: 2,510 head of Breeding Sheep & 68 Pedigree Charollais. CCM Auctions held the fortnightly sale of Gimmer Shearlings and Breeding Ewes at Skipton Mart on Tuesday where trade was seen to be slightly better than at the previous sale especially for the commercial types of sheep.

MARKET REPORT – WEDNESDAY 11th SEPTEMBER 2013 FORTNIGHTLY SALE OF YOUNG FEEDING BULLS, STORE BULLOCKS & HEIFERS, BREEDING CATTLE FORWARD: 547 HEAD OF CATTLE Comprising: 82 Young Feeding Bulls, 452 Bullocks & Heifers, 13 Breeding Cattle A great show of strong store cattle attracted seasonal buyers from down country who produced a very strong trade for all types. Buyers were keen and potential vendors are encouraged to take advantage by selling strong store cattle whilst the large numbers are here to attract buyers travelling some distance. No shortage of cattle at 4 figure prices. Another feature of the sale were some good runs of Angus cattle which sold well. Next Sale – Wednesday 25th September
