Reserve champion was J Hindle, of Oswaldtwistle, with a trio of 22-week-old point of lay Barnevelders sold for £60.
In the waterfowl show class, the first and second prize pens both came from A Jennings, of Low Bentham, his red rosette winners making £35.
Top price of £80 fell to Silver Laced Wyandottes from Stephen Hitchen, of Ludendenfoot, Halifax, who also judged the show, with a pair of Red Sussex hens making £75 and £60 achieved for both a trio of Guineau Fowl and a trio of Silver Laced Wyandottes.
The latest poultry show again ran alongside CCM Skipton’s annual Rare & Native Stock Breeders Auctions of rare, minority and traditional breeds of cattle, sheep, goats and pigs. The next Craven Feather Auctions show and sale is the Christmas fixture on Saturday, December 8. Entries close on November 30.
