CCM Arts & Events is fast gaining a reputation as a major events, entertainment and exhibition venue in the north of England. CCM Skipton's site is perfectly situated in an edge-of-town location next to the town's western bypass. It offers trouble-free vehicular and pedestrian access and extensive parking for cars and coaches.
With the refurbishment of the Main Auction Ring in 2005, The Mart Theatre now delivers a developing artistic programme designed to address local cultural and economic needs. It is a new non-traditional theatre space and the only one of its kind in a working auction mart in the UK. It offers an experimental mixed programme of professional touring productions, workshops and events.
CCM Skipton also holds a licence to conduct civil wedding ceremonies - in a unique setting. The licence covers the Main Ring and Exhibition Hall, enabling both small and large wedding ceremonies and receptions to be accommodated.
Conferences, exhibitions, business meetings and seminars can all be arranged. Rooms and areas accommodating from 15 to 700 persons are available and packages can be tailored to suit individual requirements, incorporating catering and bar facilities and equipment hire.
