LIVESTOCK ONLY - SATURDAY 7TH AUGUST 2021

Forward – 153 head cattle. Stirks a solid trade throughout. The sale consisted of Monthly vendors selling good runs of consignments. Native cattle a flyer with B Hawksworth, Bradfield selling to a top of £590 for 5/6-month-old dairy bred heifers. 17 Angus heifer youngsters 6 months and under sold to avg £541.

Another first draw prime lambs championship at Skipton for Robert Fielden Todmorden sheep farmer Robert Fielden arrived at Skipton Auction Mart as usual at the beginning of August with his opening prime lambs consignment and, as he has done in the past, secured the championship at the monthly show with a pen of five from his first draw.
