A strong trade was had in the tup ring today with 85% clearance through the sale ring. Anything looking well framed and up for the task of being turned out straight away founds a ready ringside of buyers. Procters Farms, Slaidburn had a cracking pen of tups and sold the top priced tup of the day 480gns to N&J Thwaite, Hellifield. Blue Faced Leicesters had a particularly good following with some handy tups selling to 350gns twice for shearlings from AP Percival and CD&RF Kitching.
