After the large success of last week’s show numbers were always going to be scarce for today’s sale. Best calves could still make honest money with JP&KE Hartley of Bolton Abbey taking the highest price of the day with a nice Blue bull reaching £380 selling to Tom Watson. Continental heifers sold to a quiet ringside of clients with many filling up last weeks with the abundance of calves available, despite this a straight trade for heifers saw four make £300 from Colin Whitelock and Shaun Sowray. Dairy bulls a straight trade topping at £62 from Flasby Estates.
