CCM Auctions conducted their fortnightly sale of Gimmer Lambs at Skipton on Tuesday. A very mixed show of lambs for this fourth sale of the season saw an overall average of £61.04p for Mule gimmer lambs, very much in line with late season trade, and would be a straight go for the size of lambs that generally was on offer. Anything with that bit extra quality was quickly sold, but it is evident buyers are discounting plain and smaller lambs this year.
