154 Breeding & Store Sheep comprising 50 Ewes with 78 lambs at foot, and 26 Store Hoggs
A nice entry of ewes with lambs today for the opening weekly sale, and a full ringside of buyers all keen, with a shortage of numbers to satisfy the demand. The general trade for the Suffolk and Continental ewes was £60 to £70 per life, odd lots making more, with a top per life equivalent of £70.50 from Stuart Beeforth and £200 per outfit to the same vendor. Some nice young Mule Ewes from Chris Craven topped at £190.
