Henry Atkinson made 323p and 320p, with Kevin Marshall of Darley at 322p, followed by Tony & Kaye Kiernan of St Micahaels with 321p. Derbyshire vendor, Richard Wain of Ashbourne made 314p.
In the lump, Messrs Castick made £150 twice and £140, all to SA Swales,, and £147 to Vivers Scotlamb. PC&EL Longdin of Doncaster made £143 for Texels, JE Burrow £140 and £138, Rob Bailes of Boroughbridge £138, Thwaite Bros from Malham and GA Gaythorpe of Stockeld Park both achieved £137.
The next grade of handyweight prime lowland lambs well fleshed were mainly 250p to 275p, and a commercial sort 230p to 250p. Heavies a similar trade with over 52kg weight range levelling at £124.
Best Mules were 230p to 240p, topping at 244p from CD&RF Kitching of Threshfield with 44kgs at £107.50, heavy Mules could make £110 to £120 and a breed average of 230p.
