MACHINERY (Records fall at Agritrader sale)

A top price of £13,500 was paid (against a lower reserve) for a Valtra A95 Tractor consigned by Robert Greenwood as part of an ongoing genuine dispersal of items following Roberts decision to cease active farming. The same vendor also made £6,000 of a 2014 Polaris Ranger. A New Holland Tractor and Loader attracted a bid of £25,000 but failed to sell on the day despite much interest from both home and abroad.

In the trailer section AR Barker of Halton Gill took top price with a Graham Edwards flat bed trailer at £1,100 which went to a purchaser from Consett. J&K Hartley of Beamsley sold a Hi Spec spreader at £1,600 and W Bell of Earby a post knocker at £1,100.
