Fortnightly Sale of Young Feeding Bulls, Store Bullocks & Heifers, Breeding Cattle

Forward:  732 head of cattle

Comprising:  290 Young Feeding Bulls and 442 Bullocks& Heifers

CCM Auctions conducted their fortnightly cattle sale at Skipton on Wednesday where another large entry was presented for sale. Generally Young bulls could not maintain the fearsome trade seen the fortnight before, Best bulls were marginally cheaper, with 2nd and 3rd draw bulls definitely cheaper than the previous sale.

Store Cattle also met with a bit of resistance as feeders look to react to a falling finished cattle trade, but prices were in the main not much different to last sale, with quality sorts and yearling heifers again in high demand.
