19 Beef Bred Feeding Cows av £903.17

An increased entry of beef bred cows for this fortnight’s sale saw a full range of qualities and the best average yet! The ¾ bred cattle sold well, the best was a nice Blonde cross from Messrs Lodge of Westside House, Malham Moor selling for a section top price £1,430 Messrs Hollins of Pecket Well followed with a Blue cross at £1,220 Messrs Wilson of Cleckheaton with a Limousin cross at £1190 and Messrs Bamforth from Slaithwaite with a Blue cross £1,100. A half bred beef cow found a sharp following for feeding the better end from £900 to £1000, and the plainer end from mid £600’s to mid £800’s.

Keep the cows coming as there are plenty of buyers looking, especially at this time of year with the grazing season just round the corner.
