Cull Cow Prices
The cast cow trade is steady because of short term build up of numbers in yards as factories concentrate on clean cattle and only move small numbers. This situation is seasonal and generally changes once Christmas trade is satisfied. 2 inside fed Galloways were 120p/kg, Angus to 125.5p/kg (£1224) and Continental to 132.5p/kg. Heavier dairies were circa 120p/kg and the plain B&W dairies remain 80p plus.
